NHL Network: New York Rangers schedule for game with Los Angeles Kings – NHL Network
New York-area hockey fans will soon have another home when the NHL Network returns for its fourth season.
The Rangers, who defeated the Kings 5-4 in the first game on Wednesday, will return to Madison Square Garden for their home opener on Saturday, Oct. 4, against the Kings.
The game will be broadcast by NBC Sports Network.
The Devils will host the New York Islanders on Oct. 18, marking the first time the Rangers will host an opponent since the team’s first-round playoff series with the Philadelphia Flyers in 2011.
The season finale will be the Rangers’ first in New York since 2013, when they lost 6-2 to the New Jersey Devils in a game that was postponed due to a virus outbreak.
The team will then take on the Capitals on Oct, 22 at Madison Square Gardens.
The Capitals will be joined by the Toronto Maple Leafs and Washington Capitals in a four-game set.
The teams will face off again the following night, Oct., 24, for the first of three games on the road.
The Rangers will then play the Devils in an eight-game series on Oct., 25 at Madison.
The series will be televised by NBCSN.
The series finale will also be televised nationally by NBC and NBCSN and streamed on NBC Sports Live Extra.
The second and final game will take place on Oct 25, and will be played in Washington, D.C., on NBCSN, with both games airing on the same night.
The games will be aired on the SportsNet New York channel.
The games will also air on SportsNet NY on Oct 26, with games from the Rangers vs. Capitals series on Sportsnet NY and the Rangers and Capitals series from Sportsnet New York.
