Social media detox jobs in the workforce
The number of social media jobs has reached its peak, according to the latest report from the Social Media Employment Network.
Social media jobs are currently at a record high.
While they are still growing, according the SMETN, their share of jobs in 2015 was the lowest on record.
The number rose from 3.2 percent of total U.S. jobs in 2014 to 3.4 percent in 2015.
However, the number of new jobs grew at a slower pace in 2016, reaching a record low of 1.9 percent.
SMET’s report also noted that jobs that include social media are growing in importance and are now more important than those that do not include social networking.
The SMET report noted that job creation in social media positions is at its highest point on record, with more than 200,000 jobs created in the field.
While job creation is up for a variety of reasons, it is likely that it has increased as social media is becoming a bigger part of people’s lives.
